Boxiecat Shelter Partner, Charm City Animal Rescue, is a Baltimore-based network of volunteers that rescue and re-home many stray and abandoned cats every year. Their organization survives solely on donations and fund-raisers so we are always happy to help support their mission to promote the care and well-being of the cats in their community. On May 3rd, 2014, Charm City Animal Rescue will host its 4th annual “Furball” fund-raising event and we can guarantee that this is an event you won’t want to miss.

This year’s Furball is a “Purrty in Pink”, 80s prom-themed event that will take you back today the days of big hair, bigger cellphones, and neon everything. 80s cover band, The Blatant Eighties, will be playing all of your favorite tunes from the decade and the menu includes a long list of drool-worthy items including BBQ Chicken, Shrimp Scampi over linguini, and a Maryland classic, Crab Soup!
